As a team they are a stronger unit than we are and are rightly favourites. I'd probably have Gross, Welbeck, Trossard, Sanchez and Dunk in. It could easily go either way but my prediction is 1-1.

We may as well be a completely different club who were kicked out of the ground for the last 10 years
No period of those 10 years were bleaker than Bruce's spell tho. It was absolutely mind numbing.
I get Pardew was a bit of a "nutter" but he did lead us to 2 of our 3 top half finishes since 05/06 and only European adventure.
For Pardew it was the man as opposed to the manager that I didn't like.
Understandable - while we've (IMO) had much worse than Pardew he is a difficult man to like but as a manager he did well for the club.

No, we were perfectly safe with him almost every season.
Only "bad" season we had with Pardew was the one we finished the Europa League Quarter final
