6 Murder investigations started in the last 4 days. The Londoners try and make out Northern people are backward!
Detectives investigating the murder of a grandfather stabbed while riding a mobility scooter have released images of a man seen running from the scene armed with a knife.
Thomas O'Halloran, 87, died on Cayton Road, Greenford, west London, after being attacked just after 16:00 BST on Tuesday.
Ch Supt Sean Wilson said it was an act of "unprovoked violence".
Police now want to identify the man from CCTV as a matter of urgency.
He is described as wearing grey shorts, a dark coloured T-shirt, a white baseball cap and white patterned builder style gloves.

Knife crime is out of control and no one seems to be doing sod all about it. It's al blah blah blah from the top (government) down to the mayor, all who fail to recognise we have a massive growing problem. If someone gets offended on the street these days, knives seem to be the go to tool, until we start getting tough on this shhite, the worst it's going to get, start building the detention centres, because if we don't there is going to be a lot more dead people from knife crime.
How do you get tough on knife crime?
Studies show that people commit less crimes when they think they'll get caught (not so much when punishment goes up).
Police random checks of people's bags and clothing's would probably make people carry fewer weapons but no one wants police to do that so the alternative is harsher penalties (which rarely lower crime by much).
Is there a third way? Perhaps a no-warning option. You get caught, you get charged 100% of the time, no warnings, no chance getting-off?

I'm laughing and joking about it here, mate. It happens up here, it's rare but it happens. On Friday night two lads rushed through my mates door tooled up with knives, he somehow managed to get out the house but collapsed across the street outside of Herons. He's alright but he knows he's lucky not to have been killed.Knife crime is out of control and no one seems to be doing sod all about it. As far as I'm aware it's automatic jail for carrying a lethal weapon. It was that unless it's changed. How do you get tough on knife crime?

No. The police have already been chased off. They're scared to pull people over now and I don't blame them. Everywhere they go some **** is reading the magna carta to them whilst sticking a phone in their grid.So it's hard to get tougher without doing random searches. (Which probably wouldn't be popular either).
Stop and search is seen as racist so you can’t do itHow do you get tough on knife crime?
