No thanks on midfielders. I'd argue its where we're strongest. I thought Everton were swallowing up your offloads?
You've only got Bruno that's good enough, imo. Shelvey is a joke. Willock is gash, his brother at QPR is better than him. Longstaff championship quality, at best.

Have I missed anybody?

Just double checked ... think the stats I read might have referred to 'English' but for some reason overlooked Bowen ... who also had 12 goals but 2 more assists .. .
your original post said he had more goal involvement than anyone in PL bar Kane nowt about midfielders and even if it was and it was just english there are at least 2 with better last season . I suggest when someone queries your figures it might be worth checking them but no need to apologise .

You're bound to say that, but we've got a few decent players now mate.. Bruno is a top player though if he got injured there's no back up.

Willock was class on Saturday and Joelinton in the middle has been brilliant.

Yes you missed our best player.

(Also Willock was patchy last season but possibly MOTM on Saturday and is benefitting hugely from being in a 3, I think he's going to have a very good season - but I have been known to be spectacularly wrong in the past)

You are correct about Shelvey and Longstaff though. The latter in particular has gone backwards, 3 years ago there were many in the media saying he was better than Rice. He's not. He's pretty sh!t.

Shelvey was at best a 1 in 3 player when he was at Charlton. I always thought he lacked consistency and discipline. His good games were always followed by 2 **** games.

Entirely correct (and immediately liked by a Liverpool fan and an Nufc fan). He's got some talent but not as much as he thinks he has, he actually gave an interview last year talking about Leeds and saying he couldn't play for Bielsa as he has them training and in matches they have to run around too much. Plus he racially abused that Wolves player a few years back, it's kind of nice to think of him being ousted by Willock, Bruno and Joelinton.

There’s no doubt that there is some talent there and he can turn a game on its head in a positive way, but for the most part he is a liability. It was funny when he had a go at Fergie and Fergie laughed in his face.

Fosse.

Trent had more assists than maddison last season

Pay up time bro

Goals AND assists as I recall ... your boy got battered even more than he did by Mitrovic at the weekend ... 12 goals to 2 ...
although he did edge the assists ...

I think the forfeit was you singing "Blue is the colour" and posting up the vid <cheers>

You've got nobody as good as Maddison or Barnes ... and have no chance of signing either <cheers>

Who then, Chaos?

Perez was still getting games last season Fosse. You're just one of these guys that doesn't know his arse from his elbow.

Newcastle have got some very good players now which is who since January they've been the 4th best side in the country.

James Maddison 25 yrs old, 1 senior cap 3 years ago, punts hopeful balls in the box and hope someone gets on the end of it to make his assist stats look good, in the real world worth about £20m tops.

He's a good player tbf and he'll be at Newcastle within the next 12 months

He's so good only Newcastle are interested in him<confused>

Fosse has an over inflated view of his entire squad. They've actually been pretty **** for few years now, but he's not realising that other clubs are catching up and recognising they also have good players.

Newcastle will topple them this season or next and he'll start to wake up.
