bollox if anybody was found in my house uninvited regardless of risk levels I would kill him. I lived in handsworth b'ham where there is no English people and I strategically placed weapons around my flat and I told my housing officer that hoodrats where eyeing my place up and I wanted a move.

It is still lawful to act in reasonable self-defence, even if the intruder dies as a result. However, prosecution could result from "very excessive and gratuitous force", such as attacking someone who is unconscious.
 
RE going swimming it does help ease the stiffness in my back a little but its not really intensive enough for me to get myself in reasonbly good knick.
