I get that but everyone has his price and Newcastle must have some indication that he's keen on the move or else they wouldn't be returning with more bids. I think what Brenda says is pretty irrelevant tbh as it's out of his control and he's also a thouroughly dishonest chap. He may well be laying the groundwork to walk if it happens.

Us Saints are quite well versed in these situations and I've seen plenty of ours show the denial you are <whistle>

Usually the statement, nobody is leaving the club that the club don't want to go....is followed by.. when clubx came in with the offer they did, we really had to reluctantly take it, I know this will disappoint a lot of fans but the money will help us to pursue targets we see as taking the club in the direction we want to go....

Won't be irrelevant when Maddison and Fofana play against Brentford tomorrow ... will merely confirm what he's been repeating... that is - we aren't able to bring new signings in ... but we're not selling those players we want to keep (Tielemans aside) <cheers>
