Its a sad thing in life that when someone decides to cause trouble they will always find a little band of sheep ready to join in.

Yesterday a thread was deleted, a sensible way forward would be to PM the mods and ask why. What we got was a thread telling the world how the mods on this board had deleted a thread, little hitlers and on and on. The truth is the mods on this board, or any board, dont have the power to delet a thread in that way. They can soft delete, that means the users cant see the thread but all mods can, no sign of a soft delete so they cant have done it. Only 2 people can fully delete, me and Mick, neither of us did so wht the thread vanished I have no idea, none at all.

If the poster concerned had asked I would have looked into it and told him to repost, none of the mods could say why it had gone so we dont even know the content.

Because of the actions of a few PM's started to fly from members wanting to know what was happening with their board, well hopefully it is returning to their board.

A few people have had 7 day bans to give them time to calm down and if they dont like it I can make it full bans. The mods do a job for free and dont deserve the crap thrown at them.

Please can the silent majority help the mods get this board back to what it is, a good board to talk about the Saints.

Absolutely. I fully back the mods and organisers of the board. A bit if banter or even heated debate is good; what happened yesterday was abusive and unnecessary

Some of the people involved have had good contribution previously, but I'm afraid I'll remember yesterday and not involve myself with those people.

I hope today the forum returns to it's previous state
 
we were all saddened when the bbc606 closed down.

Many people worked hard to get this forum up and running and actually is better than 606. The Mods here are much much better and keep the team boards and threads in a good order. In addition there is general chat for those not quite mature enough to contribute genuine ideas.

Yesterday was weired and a few posters should be embarrassed today and owe an apology for their rebelious attempts.

In short, we are all entitled to our opinions and you few, and you know who you are, if you are not happy with the forum, instead of behaving like babies and inflicting your rubbish on everyone else find another forum. simples
 
Doesn't change the fact that these forums are becoming a dog. I would suggest you take my pm/thread seriously.
 
Not sure what happened as I wasn't about yesterday but any criticism of the mods on this site is completely unwarranted.

Joey if you do not like the site then go to another one where you will be better received The abuse yesterday was unwarranted and unnecessary and unwanted.......
 
I never abused anyone beddytare, all i said was that there needed to be change as the current system is making things go stale.
 
lets not start a new argument, I did read your pm and appreciate the effort. This forum like most has faults and will go through good and bad times but the majority are happy, things are constantly being changed nd hopefully improved. Just because you dont know about it does not mean its not happening.

Buddy if you had you would not be on here now............I didn't accuse you of abuse what I said was that if you do not like the way the site is run then find another one. The majority do not agree with you Buddy. We often have to do things we as individuals do not like but we have to cater for the vast majority of tastes and it is not easy we do what we can.

Sorry Joey but you should have written "I think this board is going stale". That's your opinion. I disagree and what happened yesterday was wrong.

Life is about choices. If you don't like killing and eating animals, become a vegetarian. If you don't like the ethics and capitalist approach of Tesco, shop somewhere else.

If you don't like this board, post somewhere else.
 
Maybe not this board, but look at the other boards, there is nothing going on. The whole site needs a revamp.

Joey, Joey, Joey - i respect you if you are passionate about this and have the best intentions for the forum at heart - that is fine.

Many on here yesterday just became abusive, no constructive critisism and just turned into stupid 'the mods are all dictators' type threads.

Things shouldnt stand still and in anything in life look for continual improvement and there are ways of doing that, even down to a thread as to what improvements posters would like to see on the forum - get the general consensus of opinion. No one person has the right to think things should be changed on behalf of the majority.
 
It is a shame that the other 606 sites aren't very active as it would be easy to talk to opposition fans. I go and read other forums to find out what other fans think, but don't post so there is no discussion. I suppose every team has it's favourite sites. I like the content of this site (news, gossip, opinion, humour), so just hope the Prem sites will be more active :-)
