Only one team in the last 11 years has won the Community Shield and gone on to win the League title Good omen
Anyway despite all the bantz, Liverpool did play well yesterday and easily saw off City. Which leads me to City and their new boy Haaland, I'm not sure what he finds funny about missing a sitter in his first game, but I'm sure it's something Pep can make him reflect on, by sticking him on the bench in the next game. I'm not surprised therefore today to be reading De Bruyne's frustrations towards him, it's like buying yourself a brand new motor and losing the fooking key before you even had chance to take it for a run. Still at £51M he's bargain basement compared to players like Lukaku, it wouldn't even buy you a donkey of Maguire's calibre for that sort of money these days.
That was really worrying .... ... there's a very important friendly game on that pitch this afternoon ...
Like I said mate, Pep needs to stick him on the bench for next game, the right to play has to be earned not a given on your transfer fee. Don't know what it is with the guy but he looks a bit creepy when he's just smooching about, so needs to sort his shhite out quick, before his match fitness plumments quicker than Ronaldo's at United.
For him to get a tattoo I expect, good idea imo something unique. Think Bobby is considering doing the same.
No idea who any of them are tbh, this is the first game I've watched. It's more entertaining than I thought it would be. Might switch over in a bit if no one scores though.
