It's 7am here and my waking thought was, do you have fluffy slippers as well y'****ing girl? Sorry I'm late.
I was going to mention something about you setting your willy alight but I didn’t want to come across immature that’s not me
So, am having a nice cold, not cold enough tbh, west coast IPA after a six hour drive down to the vendee. Worth it though, very French and very rustic here. Full day here tomorrow knocking about and having a walk, swim, beer, meal, wine. Then on to Gironde reagion for a night, should have been first night but came early but will still stop by on way past for the original booking. Nice little restaurant on site, which is in a vineyard and has a pool. After that down to the Atlantic coast for some beach style stuff. Bed now though, goosed.
Just booked next year's crossings! Bit of a habit of mine, book for next year while away this year. Heading down to Barca coast area next year, so boat to Spain and back.
Just booked San Sebastian for a couple of nights on way home from this trip. Will up the Tapas ante @luvgonzo !
I'm not a Tapas fan other than the traditional tapas where they just give you stuff when having a beer. I tend to go for a proper meal.
These basque stuff, Pinxtos I think, are supposed to be the bomb though. Might just go for a seafood dish yet, will see what's available. The kids will want burger or pizza obvs.
Spent a month in the region years back based myself in oviedo and took off from there.......no thrills in this region its not out 2 grab your money they sint out 2 attract tourists...everything is just your kinda old fashion in a sense where everywhere sells fresh produce and every eaterie uses local seasoning produce. Nothing like the south of Spain and more like the green grass fields we see in Britain ......fking beautiful place with plenty of historical features.......oviedo cathedral which has a nice pub outside it say they got a cloth they washed Jesus down with after the crucifixion.....looked more like my old **** cloth under my bed when a teenager tbh
I thought Oviedo was in Cantabria, next door to the Basque? Same difference thought essentially, along that northern coast of Spain.
