What way do you think they made a **** up? Making all L7 family area?

Yeah mate, exactly that, and when you mentioned it I checked and you were correct, all tickets were 13-17 year olds (that's the age kids can go without an adult). Unless it was a deliberate data analysis check to show how many youngsters are attending games and purchasing tickets without parents.

I've emailed the box office anyway asking if i can upgrade, see what their response is.

Our tickets are in the actual family area like, the curve of L7.

If you go on the site now there are still tickets available and all of level 7 says family area, it's all a bit weird.

It should be totally sold out by now but they have ****ed up.

Worse case scenario. They allow 2 adults for every kid in there. Just time it right in the queue <laugh>

Have you been up there before? (Family bit)

Yeah but it's been about 3 or 4 years. took the bairn to his first game in there against Arsenal when Rafa was in charge.

Also looked at getting season tickets there last year, but when they said the bairn had to be present at all games I opted against it.

........and if you see an older middle aged bloke doing it that will be HDQ and 2 middle aged blokes is me and GG <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Well, it's funny you should say that, when we had ST's on L7, I saw plenty of people ejected for doing it. Apparently, they do scan the crowd and on the look out for old juveniles. Also a fair chance you'd be banned, but, who knows you might get away with it.
I know someone who got pulled up on this at Manchester United (not in a family enclosure). He was 27 and using a child season ticket. He was pulled over, ejected and had the season tickets confiscated from him with no compensation.

In @ToonArmy1892's situation I would let the club know what has happened - they may take pity on him and allow him to upgrade. If they do he should probably not wear his matchday Jimmy Saville outfit though when attending.
