    Why would we want another Barnes when we've already got Alan Barnes.

    Looks like the one I called could indeed come to fruition ... reports that Kaspar Schmeichel has indeed agreed to join Nice in France ...

    Will miss his personality ... but he was an obvious part of our defensive frailty from set pieces last season ... possibly the best shot stopper in the Premier League but susceptible from long range into the top corner and doesn't command his 6 yard box enough ...

    Wish him all the best, if true ... a club legend, title and FA Cup winner and can't begrudge him a new adventure at his age ...

    Step up Daniel Iversen or Jakub Stolarczyk ... both talented young keepers and 6ft 3" and 6ft 4" respectively.

    <cheers>

    I would go with Pickford personally, although I do wonder whether one day he will badly hurt himself.

    Yep, that’s another one!

    but Kasper is the best shot stopper minus long distance ones….

    Strange move though, Nice. That’s Joe Hart level ‘fell off’.

    So not too good at short distance. Terrible long distance. Unable to get the high shots.

    Other than that he is world class at middle distance shots as long as they are low enough to reach.

    To be fair, I might go along with that.

    Pickford is just weird .

    Still have fond memories of Tobes ranting at his "antics" .
