I think he’s earned it, passed every test thrown at him including the playoff final…which under normal circumstances is high pressure and it’s probably double with our fan and expectations. He could be our first choice for a long time.
Pleased Patterson will be number one, know absolutely nothing about Bass but two young lads battling for the number 1 can only be a positive
Alex Bass seems very left field to me. I wonder if this a 3rd choice keeper situation, with another yet to arrive? A lot of clubs now want 3 senior keepers, with a youngun in for training but never to play. If Carney goes on loan then this may be a 3rd choice situation.

Is Simms a loan deal or permanent? I've seen both mentioned. Is this instead of Broadhead or do we want both?
He would do for me big powerful lad 6'2" Hearts supporters loved him. Hope this one goes through just what we need up front
A little disappointed in this one, though I think it was the talk of Iversen early in the window that built my hopes up a bit much. He's clearly number 2 - probably number 3 in reality behind Carney, who will probably go out on loan. I was expecting someone to at least challenge Patterson, if not have a first choice, because I still don't think we've seen enough of him to suggest he's ready for Championship football next season. At the beginning of last year he was playing in the National League. I suppose this is the kind of thing we've all been shouting for over the last few years, so I need to give him time and accept that we might be a mid table team next year with players like Patterson being allowed the space to make mistakes as they develop.
Good player, Ellis Simms. Really good addition and if we get Broadhead as well, we look much better in that department.
