there will come a time soon when Acun realises he should have employed a proven Championship manager like Chris Wilder & not his mate to manage his club. Shota is not going to get City into the Premier League & Acun needs to wake up & admit this

Who could have seen this coming! Certainly not the chorus of dissenters on here when he was originally linked with this concern front of mind. <laugh>

At least there are a couple of decent options we could look at if/when the time comes to replace him. Corberan front of mind.

Shota will be under pressure if the team doesn't perform, don't think otherwise.

Like Fatih Terim ?
Terim would never accept an offer from a club labeled as Fenerbahce farm club in Turkey. My bet would be on a non-Turkish manager who worked in Turkey and preferably in UK. So Bilic is an option, since he left China and Tayfun Korkut (former Fenerbahce player with German passport) seems very plausible also from the list. But if you really want someone from list, based on what we know about Acun, better check controversial figures like Hikmet Karaman or former Fenerbahce players/coaches such as Aykut Kocaman, Erol Bulut, Ersun Yanal, Bulent Uygun, Onder Ozen, though I believe none of them is fluent in English.

I think Emre Belözoğlu would be a good shout
He is at one of the championship contender team in Turkey, funded by government, just signed Ozil last week. No chance, but if he is fired somehow, considering that his very close relationship with Acun, very very likely.
