I was shot down when I said it was a shame Sanderson went Birmingham as I think he would be a stater along side Billard, but was told in no uncertain terms he'd be a bench player because Wright will be starting. So it turns out we are after another CB then?
Nothing on strikers at the minute. Everything is very under the radar which is brilliant to be fair. It is the priority position that’s for sure.
Think we need 4 CBs, Ballard Baath and Wright is a good start but would be great if we do get a really good LCB to compliment them.
Its so good to hear that everything is under the radar - its how the club should be ran. Sure @Wheatsheaf hinted that a forward might not be too far away on one of the other threads.
Thanks @Prehab26. Do you know if both permanent or loan moves? Be great if we get some announcements over the next few days
I agree with this. To complete in the Championship you either need 2 players for every position, or a load of luck.
Just been reading that Ronaldo has been offered a 211 million pound contract to play in Saudi.... why aren't we all over this? lol
Sepp van den Berg from Liverpool just spent 18 months on loan at Preston and played almost every game for them in that period… And he was initially signed for Preston by Alex Neil
Not an exhaustive list, but assume it's one of these; Auston Trusty - Arsenal l Ajibola Alese - West Ham Goncalo Cardoso - West Ham Ekwah Elimby - West Ham Tobi Omole - Spurs Tom Clayton - Liverpool Leif Davis - Leeds Lewis Gibson - Everton (bid before under current recruitment team) Jarrod Branthwaite - Everton Killian Phillips - Palace Mungo Bridge - Villa James Hill - Bournemouth
The squad post xmas was much better mate. Hence the 15 game run. Baath, Clarke, Roberts, Matete, all provided brilliant options we didnt have before. That squad is championship level in my opinion. We are only 2 or 3 top rank players from top 6 in my opinion.
Would love it to be branthwaite, I’d be lying if I said I’d heard of the others, hill maybe? Think he was at fleetwood last season?
