I reckon Southampton will be in for him and potentially Brentford. Probably an unrealistic signing for us but is the type of player weve been looking at recentlyHe would be a fantastic signing, potentially have options bottom half of the prem?

essentially Pattinson replaces one of Hoffman and Burge. We don't need 3 keepers as we have good prospects in U23s (and there's always emergency loans)
Or a keeper like Iverson who will either push Patterson to become a top keeper or will start ahead of himGood point reference Patterson, he was out on loan and only got a chance cause if covid and the lad grabbed it with both hands. However, he wasn't a keeper we planned to play so should be seen as a replacement for Burge. We now need an experienced keeper who is happy to sit on the bench in the back end of his career!
Would be an excellent signing, I thought the same about Ballard re bottom half of prem possibly looking at him to be fair.He would be a fantastic signing, potentially have options bottom half of the prem?
A priority for us imo…Colwill of Chelsea is apparently available for a permanent deal, would be an unreal signing if we can get him. Left footed CB with unreal potential
Same - Saw that Brathwaite could be joining PSV on loan. I'd take either Hjelde from Leeds on loan or go for it and try & sign ColwillA priority for us imo…
Coventry have got some very good championship players. Some won’t agree but I’d make us underdogs first game of the season. Tough game. It’s a hard league and we’re currently way short…Coventry have just signed Panzo on loan from Forest. That’s another left sided Center back (alongside Doyle) on loan. Building a good side there
They've recruited well last few seasons, think they did lose a couple defenders at the end of last season so suppose Doyle and Panzo have replaced them. O'Hare and Hamer are players I really like from them - plus Waghorn coming home, will cause us trouble on the opening day,Coventry have just signed Panzo on loan from Forest. Would hope we’d be all over this type of signing nothing to lose, move onto the next one if it doesn’t come offWould be an excellent signing, I thought the same about Ballard re bottom half of prem possibly looking at him to be fair.
Bowen has done a great job there tbh. They are a solid Championship side. It will be a tough first game for us.Coventry have got some very good championship players. Some won’t agree but I’d make us underdogs first game of the season. Tough game. It’s a hard league and we’re currently way short…

A drama free season is what I'd take, but then again we are Sunderland - we don't do drama freeDepends on expectations I guess. I think too many are expecting us to be pushing for promotion and anything else is a failure. The club is obviously aiming to finish as high as possible but consolidating in the championship is essential this season. And I don’t think we are short of that once we plug the obvious gaps
Things starting to move in the PL which means it's more likely we'll start to see movement on our targets. Everton selling Richarlson is bad for us as Broadhead will be backup to DCL in pre-season. Got to hope Everton sign a striker soon and Broadhead can be released to come here
Agree on all counts. I don't know much about Parrot and assume is goal tally for MK Dons last season doesn't tell the whole story (much like Broadhead's for Burton wasn't all that) but Stewart, Broadhead and Parrot as forward options, with Pritch, Embo. Clarke & Roberts as attacking midfielders would be a strong squad even in a higher leaagueOn the plus side it moves Parrot further down the pecking order for Spurs.
Id love to get Broadhead back here, his injuy record would still be a big worry for me though, so if he comes back we are still in desperate need for a 3rd striker
Looked up Parrots stats from last season 8 goals and 6 assists which isn’t bad in fairness but you never really know until they’re here, broadhead looked poor on paper and he was excellent, not really sure what my point is here haha just want some more options up topAgree on all counts. Agreed, that's why I'm reserving judgement on Parrot. He played in a very good side and scored against us at the start of the season. Possibly (like Broadhead at Burton) he was played in a wide position to support the striker. What I would say (from my post a couple of days ago) is that I trust the recruitment team at the club. Since KLD came in, the vast majority of signings have improved usLooked up Parrots stats from last season 8 goals and 6 assists which isn’t bad in fairness but you never really know until they’re here, broadhead looked poor on paper and he was excellent, not really sure what my point is here haha just want some more options up top
