The women's game should be pitched and enjoyed for what it is, at the level it is. Which is a few hundred rungs below the level of mens football. Someone needs to tell the BBC this. If it's your thing then great, enjoy. They're doing nobody any favours by cracking on it's just the same thing.

The fake adulation, and it is completely fake, is almost as bad as what the WNBA gets in the States. I can't stand now how the BBC doesn't make it obvious that it's womans football being played when I check their site, I go like "oh **** there's football on?" and realise it's League One level in Nike kits. Embarrassing.

Yes TWENTY nil. this is the point, there are far bigger mismatches in the womens game than there are in the mens game so you can’t compare stats betweeen the 2 genders. Celebrate the stats for what they are but don’t compare it to the mens stats as it’s just ****ing stupid
