It's still deemed as violent conduct so the ref had no option but to send the players off.

so by that logic you're not allowed to defend yourself? so if some thug was running towards you hell bent on swinging for you and you dropped him in self defence you wouldn't have a leg to stand on?

Just the rules of the game really, nobody here will agree they wouldn't have done anything but the refs hands were tied.

he does hit him in the temple though for the record. thats enough to knock someone out with boxing gloves on let alone an unexpected free shot with bare knuckles...plus he's a footballer so he was probably trying to get the fan sent off...

well he obviously doesn't do any martial arts...or balls for that matter. if he really was a hard man he would've made sure he knew he was coming rather than take a cheap shot.

Always wanted to try that. I used to do boxing(stopped a year ago) and never thrown a punch as badly as was thrown.

Shame the ref had to send the players off though, should of played the "i missed it" card.

I did muay thai and kick boxing for a couple of years. my hips were f*cked and my shins still feel like a rugged mountain range even now. and that was like 3yrs ago i stopped.

  17. Unfortunately in this world, you simply can't defend yourself without risk of being prosecuted for violence also.

I don't believe in all this "restrain them" crap.

Sometimes the only way to stop them hitting you is knocking them out.

Once a person i know was getting attacked by a woman. He didn't believe in hitting women, but he tried to get her in an arm lock and hold on to her until she calmed down...

...and about 10 blokes that witnessed this took the bitches side and were like "aww howay man you wanna pick on a lass, try it on with me big man come on aal knock ye out like". -.-

I believe you should be allowed to fight back, but sometimes i think it's best to just take the beating then go to the police. Justice in this world is not existent.

for five minuites every night roll a milk bottle up and down them then go back and you'll be fine... the technique works but they become soar but it's worth it.
