Net spend game currently at 32.7mil.

Phillips, Williams and Davies to go.

That would basically be a 0 net spend summer.

Call it 15, 12 and 5mil = 32mil.

updated.

Net spend now 17.2mil.

will try to figure wages changes later in window.

Nunez = +140k
Salah = +150k
Carvalho = ?
Ramsay = ?
gomez = +?

290k known going on the wage bill

Mane = -100k
Milner = -?
Minamiino = -75k (no thats what he was reported on really)
Williams = -25k
Origi = - 60k
Karius - 25k

285k minimum tkane off.

The danger with "Net Spend" is, if you se someone for £10 mill, how much money after legal, administrative, and agent fees do you actually recoup?

I've no clue, but I'd be surprised if the club actually saw more than £9 mill from every £10mill sold.

Also, if we're spending £100k extra on wages a week... That's £5 mill extra spent... Although as you point out above, looks like wage structure pretty static this time around.

Also agent fees, signing on fees, goal/clean sheet bonuses for any new signing.

Hard to know. There's our fee to be taken

Player signing on fees.

Who pays the agents fees (did you want rid and paid agent or did they etc)

On the wages there issued to be a % increase allowance. Not sure what it is now.

Van den berg off to shalke.

With konate injury our loan/sale of phillips is off the table.

That's nearly all the business does now, there's a couple more u21s like jake cain to be homed but largely all deals are now done.

Owen Beck Loan has been terminated at the Portuguese side (really odd loan) and he has now been loaded to Bolton.

Perhaps homesick... who knows.

It might be safe to call this one finalised now, a senior in and another young loan on the way out. Busy final day

net spend tracker.

We have big midfield gaps and ended up taking a player on loan on deadline day with two crocks not even in CL squad.

9.6mil net spend.

Looking at FFP over 3 years:

the profit not the net spend is what goes in

explains a lot of this.

this shows how the club just doesn't have the cash flow nor owner backing to drive transfers esp with the covid impact and this simply boils down to available cash on the books to fund spending.

FSg won't allow debt. The red bird stuff is literally not available and was used to offset covid and then repaid and the club is using cash to pay for the stadium and repaying fsg for main stand.

this is a nice tbale explaining amortisation

note that amortisation is an expense on the profit and loss account so is different to ready cash. the above table shows a 30mil buy sold after 3 years for 35mil is actually a 23mil profit in the accounts not a 5mil profit.

but in cash terms LFC pay 30mil out year 1 to that selling club rather than in installments (usually) this is ready cash needed.

Simply put we are a self sustaining profitable club but we simply do not have the cash on hand as other clubs do.

Man city - zero stadium issues. were handed it.
Cheslea - zero debts of any kind as RA was forgiving and now they've been bought.

etc.
