Boris is defo going today - I think he can still run the country until his replacement is voted in.

I have some concerns regarding his replacement, it may well be someone who will hold the future Tory vote, but my immediate concern is the here and now, because some monetary measures were meant to be announced in parliament today, regarding tax reductions, so while everyone is getting overly excited, there could be an immediate consequence to this, I hope not.

Also we shouldn't forget, the replacement might be someone Tory voters like, but opposition voters hate even more, and considering nothing is ever guaranteed where the opposition is concerned, the bloke who would have won them (Labour) the next election (Boris), he will be gone.

the bloke who will win a GE for Labour is currently Manchester Mayor. This needs looking into as Boris and Livingstone were still MP's when Mayor of London.

Way things are under Boris, I would vote for Blair right now :-(

He would have ended the gravy train, and put that money into public services

Would have been one of the biggest shake ups of the old status quo that the rich have engineered to suit themselves for a generation

As you know. I would rather Boris had stayed and bum ****ed the Tories into oblivion at the next GE

Personally I think the Tory brand is so damaged though, that they'll get the boot anyway.

    Don't be so sure .
The media will control the minds of the floating voters and if they like who's in charge they will effect the sway towards them .

Sorry mate, you said a lot about how to beat the Tories last time, and it never happened. So you might be right, but people forget really easily past fortunes, time and time again.

I believe the local elections have proven that people are not neccesarily willing to vote for Labour, and er towads LD and any move to form a coalition will last at tops two years.

Starmer has got two things right for me, sitting slightly astray of the unions, I do keep an eye on stuff like that, as soon as he moves towards a picket line, I will write him off completely.

I do believe Starmer got one thing bang on though, move away from any thoughts of rejoining the EU, now that is something I listen to.
