Don't say it too loudly :bandit: but James Pearce says Liverpool are not put off by jude Bellinghams 120m price tag.

Can we break the Internet before the deadline?

Stay tuned <whistle>
On a serious here, i really don't trust anyone that looks good at Dortmund. For some reason if it be the way they play or the German league in general being ****e, many players look world beaters there but fade into obscurity when they move to a different league/level, Mykhitarian, Aubamayang, Sancho (at present), the fella that scored in the world cup (always forget his name).
Can you name one that has moved onwards and upwards?

Rumours you are/were in for Charlie Cresswell on loan from us. 19 year old beast of a centre back. Millwall and Stoke in for him too.

He'll be great for someone at that level.
I've heard that rumour but this signing probably puts an end to that as your lad wouldn't be guaranteed a game. We've got decent cb's for this season.

Apparently you are also interested in taking Daniel Iversen on loan from us ... he's Kaspar Schmeichel's understudy both for us and Denmark and has been at Preston on loan the last 2 seasons where he's been voted POTS ... he's 24 (young for a keeper) and 6ft 4" ... I'd hoped he would get some first team time with us this season but, if not, a season at your place would be very good for him ...
I've seen the Iversen rumour, we heard it was to buy him. I'm not sure how true it is because the young lad we have is one of our own and he's been great since he's been handed a chance. I suspect we'll go in for an experienced number 2 like Ruddy.

Everyone challenges for the quadruple mate, some just go out at different stages just like you last year <laugh>
We all know there's only two teams capable of achieving it tho.

You aint one of em <laugh>

Did well on loan at Millwall last year. So he's got some Championship experience and should slot in well at Sunderland.

Good luck to the lad <ok>
Nice one pal. I think he'll be a great signing for us and he can probably step up again in hopefully just a year or two.

So City don't get near it, you get 50% of the way, who are the two teams capable of it?

We got 75% of the way, just sayin.
I am not so sure you did
I am no mathematician but surely at some point we were closer mathematically lol

IF we had taken the lead against Wolves before City had turned it around we would have been closer than what we were

you can say we won 50% of the trophies - but at some moment we were really close must have been - what - 90% of the way there at least

the league cup is the fly in the ointment because if you get knocked out of that you cannot win the quad so your percentage chance goes in the round you get knocked out
Say round 3 or 4 for example

I will bet there is some clever maths dude who can sort this one out as surely it’s fact based this one lmao

I have blown a fuse in my brain just attempting to think of it

not that it matters as we blew it anyway but we did get very close

I will bet there were some very nervy fans when Villa went 2 up lols thinking
It couldn’t - could it
Please don’t let them do it - we will never hear the last of it lol

ftr
No way we win the league cup this year so it will be over earlier this season too
And tbh I can’t see the league heading our way either - I think spurs and - whisper it quietly but your man doing some good quiet business so you may surprise a number of people

Manchester United officials met Ajax counterparts at the weekend to discuss a deal for Arsenal’s main centre back target, Argentina international defender Lisandro Martinez, 24, with the Red Devils offering £39.6m. (Mirror)
