But for what its worth I don't think that he either he or McTominay are 'bad' players I just don't think that they work as a pair in the systems that your managers chose to utilise last year. Ten Haag is unlikely to play with 2 'holding' midfielders moving forwards and I do think that should you get De Jong over the line and add Eriksen too, then one of the above will play well with those 2 (or Van De Beek) in a 3 though where Bruno fits into that formation I am less sure.
