Nunez competes officially today.
Carvalho today.
I agree that nobody actually expected it to be done after the season ended as it would have been a huge boost to see something announced before cl final.
The best thing is though... 5 forwards for next season secured.
Midfield is alright.but not perfect
Defence is well sorted.
Roll on Monday and the puke test.

I guess diaz and Jota can cover that side. Jota scores just as many with his left than his right so should be comfortable coming inside.

In reality it'll be 5 subs and hope he is bullet proof so the sub is a 20min rest and control game
It is if he is out. We have to start managing him more.
If he goes off and we are level or behind it's a struggle as you are right it not balanced.
We have to see how carvalho and Elliott come on

yeah me too - and Diaz has the benefit of a 6 month spell - I think he’ll be a superstar tbh

Ronaldo wants out apparently. Scored all their goals last year so I’m sure will miss that. But could be a bit of a blessing for new manager. Doesn’t have to force him out, drop him, deal with the circus that comes with that…

Maybe but he was the only one scoring goals for them so they'll have to spend whatever they're saving on finding a striker who can actually score goals.
And all the good options have either been bought or are on their way to somewhere. Plus the lack of CL is going to hinder.
Yup. If he won't accept 1 game a week or being subbed and he ruins your press, well I'd be falling over myself to sadly let him go while wishing his ego well.
I'd say 1 down and 20 to go but pogpoo, jones, mata, cavani, matic and lingard are already gone so just 15 more to go.

No matter how you cut it tin hat has a 3 year rebuild job costing 750mil to do.

You say that but some of those will be decent enough all round squad players. Plus always room for a decent manager to actually improve players.
no one would have put Robbo, down as a star but he improved year after year. Players like Fred, vd beek, rashford, they are no worse than players like Keita and better than ox, minamino, origi etc. spurs they may not be top class players for a title challenge, but tbh uniteds target isn’t the title this year or next. They need to make themselves a regular top 4 again and some of those players should be good enough for that.
you then bring in quality to play alongside and hope a few improve and those that don’t you go from making first choice, to being back up etc

Yup and that’s why managers are paid big bucks to make those decisions. He scored all their goals, maybe that’s cos rest were poor and without United would have been even worse.
or maybe without, others would have stepped up, not though oh Ronaldo will score. Or looking to pass to him instead of going in their own etc. can argue both sides of the coin. Pinning all your hopes in a 37 year old to continue to score you 20 league goals is risky though.
in theory, rashford CF Sancho is a potentially decent line up. With Elanga looking a decent prospect. Who they get to play up top will be question. They’re looking at Antony who is another winger so maybe allows rashford to go central
