I'm the same!!

I am the very epitome of the Neo-Luddite <laugh>

To be honest, I'm quite happy about it as well. At least my English is good, I can use a pen to compose a letter and I can count, add, subtract, divide and multiply in my head.

All hail those of us from a bygone era.

One of the best presents I've been given this century, was a Waterman's fountain pen. Extremely well made, proper craftsmanship, and a pleasure to write with. It even went in the washing machine twice, and emerged undamaged. You couldn't do that with a computer keyboard.

Exam board OCR said it was introducing "new texts by diverse authors" for its 2023 English Language and Literature A-Level.

Looks like the Paddies are not diverse enough, can't wait to see who will replace Friel and Heaney.

They're even trying to get 1984 by Orwell removed from Universities ffs!!

Doesn't fit the modern day woke ideology.

I ****ing give up.

Are you fond of a bit of poetry Ciaran? Famous Seamus was a Fenian, so right up your street. And as a Potato Wog, he ticks all the right boxes, apart from being a boring bastard.
