You definitely seem to be "going for it" with those signings ... on paper the strongest looking Spurs squad for a good 20 years, I'd say ... not that it guarantees anything ... you'd have thought a team with de Gea, Varanne, Bruno Fernandes, Pogba, Ronaldo and Edison Cavani in it would be better than mediocre...

Yeah from a squad perspective definitely. Our first XI probably isn’t quite as good as the 2017 team under Poch or the 2011 team under Redknapp but in terms of the amount of options we can now call upon to come into the XI it’s definitely looking like the best one we’ll have had for a long, long while.
