Well I hope you're right.. I suppose the buyers wouldn't have come into this unless they knew they could succeed no matter what the peasants try and do.
Yep, probably. Like Diaby we’re not there yet. Raphinha leaving probably makes a move for Harrison impossible. Still only 3 players to go.
So Ekitike chooses PSG, the Diaby deal has been killed and Newcastle are not putting a bid on for raphina because the amount is too high amid arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea and man united interest. Think that's the summary
One way of looking at it. Or.... Newcastle dodge a bullet in Ekitike, keeping tabs on top class players Diaby and Raphinha though both are currently not likely to join - however, this time last year we were hunting down the back of the sofa for a few quid for Joe Willock, so it's not all that bad.
Way of looking at it that's what happened? They got Botman that's 1 of the 2 though.. Nufc were up against PSG AC Milan, so that should explain why they have had to grind it out. That's the key imo.. Nufc are now competing with the heavyweights and its not going to be easy.
He’s missed an opportunity. If he had put something green in it and linked de Marco then we would have know the code was “it’s on”!
