Newcastle dodge a bullet in Ekitike, keeping tabs on top class players Diaby and Raphinha though both are currently not likely to join - however, this time last year we were hunting down the back of the sofa for a few quid for Joe Willock, so it's not all that bad.

They got Botman that's 1 of the 2 though.. Nufc were up against PSG AC Milan, so that should explain why they have had to grind it out.

That's the key imo.. Nufc are now competing with the heavyweights and its not going to be easy.
