So badly dubbed, from the Italian version you can hear his voice a mile off.

Lets all laugh at benderson because he's a baldy bugger. Oi, Kojak, where's your lolipop?

Do you think he says to Lewis Hamilton "Who loves you Baby?"

It appears Mark Hughes is getting just as bad as Benson. <doh>

If the BBC just cut away all their deadwood then they probably would be able to afford to show an entire season of F1.

No way was Lewis on for a podium, sorry but Alonso was on the limit the whole way trying to keep up, sorry maybe other times Lewis had a shot, but not today, not with Alonso and Webber...

Even Massa was pulling a steady gap before he ran off the track at turn one. Lewis was on for 5th at best or 6th.

I just read that bit of Benson's rubbish and thought of posting it here...only to find I wasn't the only one to think it!

How he can possibly delude himself that Hamilton could have got a podium is beyond me, he never had the pace all race. Even worse is the comments below accusing the BBC of being anti-Hamilton!

"But it became clear from replays that this time it was not Hamilton's fault."

i would agree with that, except that he goes on to say it was Massa's fault for the collision. <doh> RACING INCIDENT!

Tell you what, if Sky is anything close to ITV it will be the death of unbiased F1 fans as we know it and the ratings will plummet because of people getting sick and tired of a Brit that can supposadly do no wrong.

Close your eyes and think Niki Lauda, with a German, Austrian driver, or having an Italian justify future Ferrari antics (which may not happen) saying cheating should be encouraged by them.

They would be spitting out feathers crying foul, shouting bias and BS. Face it the BBC have done a great job by trying to be less of a kiss ass to their national drivers than the other media spinning dickheads that present it.

You know F1 on Sky will be the Lewis hamilton show. Button and Di Resta may as well become Somalian, at least they'll get coverage that way.

Really? Hamilton is very much their favourite, constantly going on about how he needs a father figure, arm round his shoulder, blah, blah, blah. We even have David Croft (BBC's answer to Coleen Nolan) going on about how Lewis and Nicole are just a normal boyfriend/girlfriend yawn. Imagine if he hadn't had a ****e season.

    Oh and they're ridiculously anti-Schumacher.

Brundle and Coulthard are excellent though, call it as they see it rather than how they want to see it.

They say I'm mad but I promise you watching F1 on ITV was like this...

"And here comes Felipe Massa on the 25th lap in his Ferrari followed by Kimi Raikkonen closely, oh! Mark goes a bit wide on turn 12, (pauses) looks like Alonso is slowly catching Webber, with that mistake, he made another 6 tenths on him. A few more laps and he wi... (going up 10 volume levels trying to get their attention) LEWIS HAMILTON OVERTAKING SUPER AGURI OF SATO!!!! FOR 12TH PLACE!!!!, WHAT QUALITY STUFF FROM THE MOST EXCITING DRIVER ON THE GRID, SCHUMACHERS 7 WDC'S WILL HAVE TO WATCH OUT!!!!! BECAUSE THIS YOUNG MAN WILL SURELY GO DOWN AS ONE OF THE TRUE RACING GREATS. (back to normal voice) Oh! look at that, Kimi eventually caught up Felipe and overtook him on which I believe were team-orders by Ferrari, Lewis doesn't have that bonus with Heikki at McLaren, why they dont make him the number 1 is beyond me."

That is how annoying it was to listen to in the day of ITV, Lewis fans will say I've flipped, but I'm telling you it was ****ing such bias it was disgusting, not Lewis' fault but plain old arse kissing that ****s me off. Don't be suprised if Sky start making assumptions up thinking Seb is a ticking timebomb ready to wipe out Lewis or Jenson the first chance he gets when for the WDC, because that's what "all German drivers do".

EJ is a fan of Lewis as he keeps saying followed by Kamui.
Coulthard a fan of Seb and Webber.
    Brundle I guess Jenson.
Jake is a Seb, Jenson and Di Resta fan.
Kravitz, Jenson and Lewis I think.
    McKenzie, Seb, Michael and Jenson.
    Murray, Obviously all the Brits.
    Croft, just like Murray.
Davidson, just like Croft I believe.

But nobody in there likes Alonso the most?

Davidson once said he really likes Alonso and thinks he's best best driver out there. (Brazil 09 practice 1 i believe it was)

Don't worry mate, you're not mad. i felt the same thing. "And Sebastian Vettel has just won the Italian GP in a ****e car, but lets focus on LH's stirling drive to 8th or whatever in the best car out there" It was those idiots that put me off Hamilton. believe it or not, i actually liked him in 07.

He's said regularly this season he believes Alonso is the best driver in F1 still, despite the rise of young Vettel.

I'm the same. When he first came in to the sport, he was always quick to praise the team, well-mannered, and actually quite a likeable character. But the media frenzy seems to have gone to his head, and (to me) he's got cockier the longer he's spent in F1, as if he believes all the hype around him. Funnily enough, this seems to have coincided with his poor form. If he gets his head back together, becomes a little lower key, and starts turning in the performances he's clearly capable of, I may start respecting him again.
