Totally agree. Simon Jordan broke down on talkSPORT last week how doing it this way actually keeps Chelsea in the driving seat and could actually make money. Outlay is zero for this season yet the have the potential of a now 70 million pound player on the books. Still **** how Inter have like you say, all that money and a player
Wednesday signing Ihiekwe and Smith from Rotherham tonight when Rotherham thought they were renewing with them this morning is pretty mental. good signings for league one for Wednesday
Very late from me as well, but over the moon for Gooch, hes come on leaps and bounds, shows how good a manager AN is.
https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...-unlikely-with-multiple-bids-rejected-3742230 It sounds like we plan on loaning Diamond out again. This season is make or break for his career here I'd imagine. He's 22 and if he can't step up and tear league one apart this season, it's hard to see him coming back here and succeeding.
Sadly I don’t quite think he’s got it to play above league one from what I’ve seen. Flashes of brilliance at times but few and far between. Hope he proves me wrong though as I like the lad
I agree with you to be honest, but sometimes something just clicks for a player. At least he'll have a canny lower league career if he can't quite make it here. We've done right by him last year loaning him out, even if a lot of fans would have liked to keep him just for a 15 minute cameo here and there. Putting the players development first is the right approach.
Carney stood out for me after him no one in particular for this season, although I rated Wearne, Harris and Dyche tbh., and then there is Zak Johnson who at 18 looks a real prospect.
