Been talked into watching obi on disney.....I gotta be honest and say i really enjoyed the first part....fell asleep in the second part but my fault for being stoned and getting in a comfy position which is usually a goodnight Irene moment.

So my take on first episode is.....yeah its good if u like the star wars theme.

It's largely a shower of ****e but the 5th episode was quality and I'm hoping the finale will top it.

The franchise has got nearly every decision wrong since Lucas sold shop apart from Vader. His portrayal and character development in this series and in Rogue One have been brilliant.

Just watched a documentary about the biggest auto transporter liner in the world, 8,500 cars plus 200 what they call high and heavy vehicles (diggers, dump trucks, JCBs etc).
14 decks adjustable heights to fit the different vehicles, all having to be loaded in such a way as to balance the ship and in a very strict time limit (plus having to be loaded in an order that would make unloading at multiple ports around the world efficient and maintain balance).
****ing brilliant.

And there's still room for it in our trophy cabinet <ok>

Can only go with my own opinion on it and after 1part I'd say I'm gonna enjoy it.....tbh never been big on the story was always more interested in the toys on offer

Finished episode 1 of Obi Wan

apart from the real actors we all recognise I’m finding it a bit wooden

maybe will pick up

lacking the intensity I expect from a Star Wars viewing so far but it is a series so I expect it to be drawn out to some extent

might be giving Lost Boys a miss based on Luvs judgement of it

my search for my next box set goes on

It doesn't. Puerile pish.

In a galaxy far far far away they tend to make an arse of most of the fms and TV shows.

It was excellent. Liked the idea of it being more a detective type film where they're trying to figure it out as the film goes on. Very different from the rest.

But better than the Adam West original? I'm not so sure.
It's very much in sync with the original Batman comics. I thought it was authentic, believable and pretty fùcking fantastic.

Just my personal opinion though!

I saw that at the iMAX round your neck of the woods as it goes. Thought it was superb.

The only negative thing I'd say about it was the whole plot was a blatant defence of American foreign policy post 9/11, in justifying rendition, the patriot act and how the likes of George Dubya/America was right to be above the law and do whatever the fck he wanted in the world.

But once you ignore all that, it's pretty damn good <laugh>

Better Call Saul, last few episodes in July and you'll have 6 full seasons to watch.
