Anything to do with the away fans positioned directly above them? I'd certainly choose any other option than thereWhy do the lower north stand blocks always seem to struggle to sell? When the SoL first opened that was the main home end.

That's the only thing I can think of really and it's a shame. Yes there were some idiots (Coventry and Pompey I think) but the club should be acting accordingly if that's the case. More CCTV and searches of away fans. I thought they were putting the netting up as well.Anything to do with the away fans positioned directly above them? Hopefully we have more stewards/cops up there now. I agree, those people need to be made an example of and future allocations reduced. I hope we don't forget the last time we played Coventry at home with the smoke bomb. There have been a good few arseholes sitting up there. My lads had tickets under there one year, never again they said.
For the offending clubs, I would make them watch through demountable perspex screens, the next time they came. Sounds awkward but probably possible.
Those who behave like animals should be treated like one.

Think the fans asked for the aways to be moved so we could have the full lower bowl didn't they? Would be a right chew on with pissed off SAFC fans if they moved them back downstairs somewhere now.It wouldn't have been a problem if the ****ing idiot who decided to house them there wasn't so stupid
As I've said many times before, there should have been a straight swap from the Roker End to the SW corner, where it's already perfectly set up for 'away' fans outside and the Police department is. Instead the 'away' fans are where we can't see them to have a bit of banter with, and they are an obvious danger to us below
There was simply no need for such idiocy![]()
I used to love being in the SWC why put them there when most vocals come from thereIt wouldn't have been a problem if the ****ing idiot who decided to house them there wasn't so stupid

Only option would be NW imo. Round close to their bussesDon't want to go back to swathes of empty seats in South Stand (plus my seat in there and I don't want to move) but understand the argument so why not one of the less popular north corners?
because you've got dickhead away fans in the upper tier throwing things over them!!Why do the lower north stand blocks always seem to struggle to sell? When the SoL first opened that was the main home end.
As far as I am aware the only option apart from where the away fans are now is back to the south stand.
The south stand was built with a sliding wall to segregate fans on the concourse, the wall could be positioned for three allocations of away supporters (1,500, 2,500 & 3,000 I think) and provide them with bars, food and toilets wherever it was positioned. The reason they were moved is because the ground looked half full on camera when clubs didn’t fulfil their allocation.
Mid July. When do season tickets get sent out? My dad is panicking his won't be here in time![]()
Do you know if our existing cards are being updated this year or are new cards being issued, haven't seen it said anywhere, thanks.Mid July.
Same cards being used if still in the same seat and age category.Do you know if our existing cards are being updated this year or are new cards being issued, haven't seen it said anywhere, thanks.
This caught me out last season. New cards for the kids and me dad arrived but not for me. But they had all changed age categories.Same cards being used if still in the same seat and age category.
Thanks for that info, I wasn't sure what was happening this year.Same cards being used if still in the same seat and age category.
It’s where I sit and I’ve hated it since they put them up there. Was far better when they were in the south stand. Created a better atmosphere tooAnything to do with the away fans positioned directly above them? I'd certainly choose any other option than there
