Apart of me wonders if the length of transfer sagas regarding Botman etc is us showing we aren't just going to up our prices as clubs demand it, cos we are loaded, but will haggle away and be pain in transfer dealings sending a message to other clubs... Don't up your price just cos its Newcastle, because we will be moving on or haggle, we expect the same price as everyone else.
Newcastle have to ensure the message is that the minry is there if you want it, but if you take the piss they'll take it elsewhere. If they do the opposite it'll take longer to reverse that and they'll waste money long term.
Well obviously. I'd never heard of the guy prior to CC's postings in the last few months but a decent chunk of them have shown he was clearly treading the line even when on camera. Ah well, innocent until proven guilty.
