Agreed, spikey isn't an issue, can all help create some proper, juicy debates, but on some boards it gets almost personal and they often seem to end up just arguing over the same points post in and post out because of the friction between certain characters.

I'm just glad we can see past all that, have some decent discussions and where we do end up in deadlock can be big enough to put our views on that particular subject to one side in order to continue discussions elsewhere/on other topics.

I have to say that when there's football to be talked about we do just that. Lot's of difference of opinion but all respected. I also enjoy how random it gets from time to time. It's not unknown for football, music, Monty Python and quantum mechanics to be mentioned in a single thread. Yet we somehow manage to get things back on track - eventually.
Anyway, I'm off to clap my piles now.

One down, being outplayed and seemingly exhausted in our latest engagement in this ridiculous schedule. If the worst happens, I just think we'll all appreciate the circumstances.

Very much a mixed starting line up again.

Composed finish by Johnson for his second international goal in the last two games :emoticon-0137-clapp

Some promising moments again but we look shaky/tired at the back tonight.

Netherlands looking pretty slick at times.

Got in late so missed the first 10 mins.
0-0 when I turned on. 2-0 in next to no time.

Seems a game too far for Wales, but digging deep.
Johnson looking sharp and gets shots off early.
    Great finish for his goal.

Twice in a couple games we've conceded within minutes of scoring, both in stoppage time.<doh>

Seems Burnley have agreed a fee with Newcastle for the sale of Pope.

If the move goes ahead hopefully that will allow Hennessy to become their first choice going into the season... He's too good to stay on the bench in the Championship and we really need at least one of our keepers playing regularly if possible.
