How Embarrassing? For me none at all as I wasn't playing. I'm just a fan, but just as I do not bask in reflected glory, the embarrassment is not reflected either. Since I don't claim to be a better bear for my supporting of my team, no one should claim I am a worse one when they are bad. Yet, here is the thing, some people will do and claim I've done something wrong. They can not divorce their identity from their preference for support, and to me those people are already into madness, to be avoided if not put down for the common good. How fortunate we all are they reveal themselves so readily.
Geordie fan in peace here. After watching the game and being a neutral It was a good game to watch. The scoreline flatters Arsenal but conceding 5 against anyone is not good but at the same time its only one game and a bit of a freaky one. The thing is........ if the scoreline was 0-2 then there would be no BIG issues but the same difference of goals. People forget that Cheski scored 3 good goals and it 3 of Arsenals goals could have been avoided...... Terry just seemed to drop like a scotch haggis for VP 2nd goal and when they got the last you guys where sniffing for an equaliser. Anyhoo... What I am here for is to say 4 things: 1.) Mata looks QUALITY. 2.) Terry looks slow.... I mean slower than he used to. Does he look after himself cause hes not very mobile. 3.) Arsenals goalkeeper should have been sent off..... simples! 4.) Can we (NUFC) have sturridge?
This season just gets weirder and weirder with results to be honest, i mean if someone told me at the start of the season we'd lose 1-0 to QPR and 5-3 to arsenal and that man u would lose 6-1 at home to man city and arsenal would lose 8-2 against man u and tottenham would beat liverpool 4-0 i would of said they should go check in to the loony bin
I can't really decide on the Terry situation, i mean at the end of the day he scored again yesterday but at times he has looked a bit like his struggling with a injury and i know he had big problems with his back last year and still has i think. I agree Mata is definitely looking like the signing of the season so far along with Aguero, and as usual its always ifs and buts with regards to their keeper being sent off, we don't seem to be getting much luck lately.
