Either would be a fantastic signing - however I think we'll get neither. Not wanting to be doom and gloom, just realistic. Pacqueta is the more achievable of the two.

If the player says "no", we'll move on. We just need to chill out. They're going for the players at the top of the list, for a change. There's going to be difficulty. If other clubs didn't want them I'd be just as, if not more, concerned.

That's the thing if you gave any 22 year old the option he'd obviously be more keen on milan, but that doesn't mean newcastle doesn't interest him and it sure as hell at 22 doesn't mean he won't try his best.

Milan, CL football, Italian champs. He'd be mad not to prefer that, but if Milan are out, we're a very good backup. He's been liking stuff to do with us on social media since January - can't see attitude being an issue.
