Fun88 have declined the buy out, as far as I can see (I'd do the same, as we're big publicity) but the sponsorship will have to change next year anyway, as betting companies can't be on shirts from that point as far as I know.
I see people saying there's no way nufc would bid 50 million for pellagrini when they could just buy Paqueta for 60 These people are braindead I think! Not saying either will happen, but 10 Million pounds is alot of money and they might fancy pellagrini more. It's not all about Bruno's bumchum when it comes to 10 million
Who's saying that? I agree, they're probably lacking a bit... Either would be a fantastic signing - however I think we'll get neither. Not wanting to be doom and gloom, just realistic. Pacqueta is the more achievable of the two.
I don't like all this "waiting for Milan" talk. If Milan are still in for him, we're out unfortunately, assuming they match our bid. Personal terms don't really come into it... That's Botman's choice.
I tried telling people but much like Nunez they simply would not listen Only Paqueta left on the silly list
Talksport having a little cry and a beg to stop Newcastle today. I'm beginning to think newcastle should bulldoze it before the next obstacle comes in
They're all crying for new legislation to stop big takeovers and clubs spending money to threaten the order essentially. People are absolutely desperate to stop Newcastle basically and it's so obvious it's giving me a hard on. Not one cry until a North East club wins the jackpot. They don't fool me. ****s..
Newcastle won't find a single player on the planet that would choose to come here if they can go to Milan. Second choice doesn't mean he won't play if he signs ffs.
Fair point. But it doesn't sound as if he's really keen on joining, it sounds like his heart is set on Milan. Still I suppose we can work with that and improve his attitude, he's only 22.
I'm not getting involved anymore with the rumour mill. It's not like we're run by idiots. If the leadership team at the club get worried about commitment, they'll pull out. If there's issues with the player, they'll pull out. If the player says "no", we'll move on. We just need to chill out. They're going for the players at the top of the list, for a change. There's going to be difficulty. If other clubs didn't want them I'd be just as, if not more, concerned. Let's relax.
That's the thing if you gave any 22 year old the option he'd obviously be more keen on milan, but that doesn't mean newcastle doesn't interest him and it sure as hell at 22 doesn't mean he won't try his best. Newcastle are going to have to accept top players aren't newcastle fans.
I think you're maybe reading into how much his heart is set / attitude to improve... Milan, CL football, Italian champs. He'd be mad not to prefer that, but if Milan are out, we're a very good backup. He's been liking stuff to do with us on social media since January - can't see attitude being an issue.
