Unfortunately I think shelvey would start not willock. I'm really hoping for another top cm because we need one.

Take Bruno out and you're back to being overun and out played completely

It's a much better looking 11. The bench needs improving though because you get injuries.

Everyone’s banging on about a cf, but Ekiteke backing up Wilson and wood isn't a weak area in depth.

Okay........excited by the signings in Jan......No, I think relieved would be a better word as far as the defence went as it was a complete shambles regardless of who played and who was dropped including the Keepers. I was excited at the thought of Trippier coming in because I felt right back should have been looked at for several windows prior. Burn and Targett I was relieved but not excited.

Midfield.....Looked forward to seeing Bruno playing because of the hype that got built up around him, felt like I was the only one who couldn't really comment as didn't know enough about him and I don't think the standard of the French league is that great......Still don't hence my concerns at spending £30m on Ekitike and at least that again on Botman.

Wood signing would have left me underwhelmed at half the price. I know people say he did well holding the ball up but there's times where I honestly think I view matches differently to some others.......I agree with Roland and think he's **** and for the size of him he heads a ball like it's a wet sponge.....It just seems to collapse into him rather than bullet off him.

We differ on this but Joelinton turning into a mint midfielder was pure fluke, no way he would have got deployed there if it hadn't been for Clark being an idiot in my view but his progress and growth has been one of if not thee highlight of the season for me.

Wilson is mint when fit, I'd love a carbon copy of him who's genetic bone structure wasn't the same as a Dorito and would have that player ahead of any Nunez, Osimhen, Isac, Schick or whoever else we get linked with.

ASM is the complete opposite for me this year to Joelinton, started really well and by the end was sick of the sight of him falling over, running the ball out of touch, misplacing simple passes, trying to take on 4 too many players and shooting when better options were open to him.

Yet to be excited by any of the linked players if I'm honest. Paqueta or Erikson if it came off but feel that position is bottom of the priority list. I'm meh when it comes to Henderson, we've been linked in press with Costa from Porto for a ridiculous fee but never seen him to make an opinion so meh, same with Strakosha from Lazio that we were linked with n all. Out of defenders I'd like us to get Badiashile more than any of the others but the kid is no where near the finished product and will need time to develop.

Wingers - I'd be excited with a Diaby/Dembele player but meh on Sarr, who I'll put it out there for you to screenshot now - I think is a poundland version of ASM.

Strikers - Dybala would be good to see, Osimhen would be good to see. but other than that nothing mouth watering.

Think we're still very much in the gambling territory hoping we strike lucky with a few.

Well if we can get him + the other players we need, I wont complain, but we need to get a CB and ST in before anything else.

    £51m is a massive amount

I wouldn't complain if he was the only one after Targett tbh.

    Quality like that wins games

I want someone to get excited about... Not a big moan but how many leaders do we need

Very much this thinking for me and I'd even go as far as saying I'd take 2 CB's as I feel we could do with a deputy for Schar rather than a body builder that prefers playing on the left side of a 5, and a RW before another CM.

So you'd be happy with another season of hoping Wilson wont get injured and then when he does not having a goal scoring CF?

And I don't think 50 million is unreasonable for brasils no10... He's only 24 and he's a world class player

10 more than Joe. Twice willock.

The player is all I think about really.. Prices aren't our concern
