Look what happens to player values (mane, Salah), when you don’t get them tied down to deals. We don’t know what Klopp has in mind but if he’s in the squad, we protect his value. It’s just smart asset management. think of it this way, if you owned 25 houses, would you let the 16th (random it could be the least valuable) best one, fall apart through lack of maintenance so that it lost its value completely?
If we land Nunez and lose Mane, I’d accept it. Nunez will still improve tons in the next couple of years and we all know what Klopp can do with a player. Diaz will be out POTY next year….might even have a cheeky bet on him winning the players player of the season… we are in the midst of our first major rebuild for half a decade….interesting times. Mane and Salah have served us very well amd as long as we can get some value from them, they go with thanks…..although, I do fear for them that both will realise that they were only ever truly appreciated at Anfield….. we still need another midfielder and if mini also goes, another forward/wide man. Defence is sorted.
Bayern want Mane desperately but.... Despite wanting £40+m for a 33yrd old striker of their own, they think less than £30m is acceptable some of which is to be paid in the never never for a 30yr old Mane Liverpool reject Also.... We're potentially replacing him with Nunez, who would prefer us (according to the jornos) Also Also... Ox, Mini and Phillips are up for sale So pretty much the same things that cover the last 10 odd pages on here.

Accept it? I'd be turning cartwheels if we get half the nunez fee out of a guy on the slide. You are right though. Mane is in for a shock at how little anyone gives a **** about him elsewhere. It's all about performance for me and manes has been mixed and won't improve at bayern. Us getting a new younger more able to run all day forward line is no bad thing if it can find the consistency. But let's see cos as I said it could be days or take all summer or be total fake until we see the guys who should know start to pretend they knew all along
Mane always works his buttock off even when the rest of the team isn't. Can't fault Mane's work rate or desire to push forward. Can fault his sometimes sloppy finishing, but he gets himself into dangerous positions enough that the "occasional" miss is forgiven . Mane will be missed but Nunez and Diaz will make it Okz.
I'll bet mane's name isn't mentioned regarding lfc bar if we draw bayern next season. In the end we are being "treated" to the court of the other clubs press chatter here so only time will tell when things really start to happen.
Mark Goldbridge has said he was told on the night of the CL final by a source 'very close to Liverpool',that Nunez to Liverpool was a done deal.
