I know it won't happen, but I was wrong so I yield. Take that to the bank because I won't be yielding too many times.
If you haven't watched the players goal of the season vid on nufc.co.uk go give it a watch. You have the likes of Callum Wilson saying "I can't really give it to myself for the overhead kick v Palace can I? So I'll give it to Miggy" You then have Bruno "Miggy's goal against Palace was Beautiful but mine against Southampton is best"
With Wilson Ekiteke and wood I don't see why they'd buy another striker yet. I mean there's only 1 place in the 11 for that position. I'm wondering if they'll go 4 3 3?
Every cloud and all that but them 14 years where grim and they where my best years. He took something away from me. I will never thank him.
Aye we could have at least competed and won a trophy with any other owner..our cup record under him was disgusting. I also feel for the fans who have died under his ownership and never got to see the takeover..that's what really annoys me and what he should really be given **** for.
Exactly, and let’s not forget that he was only in our for himself. He gambled with the club and got extremely lucky in the end.
Yer best years? You in the old folks now or summat? You'll still be able to watch us win stuff if they show football in the daycare room, amd be able to laugh at Sid while you're there.
We would have without PIF or Ashley putting in millions. He stripped the club bare to the bones. He got lucky that AS wanted the club and saw the potential. Also that PIF stuck around. The horrible bastard even went and sued her afterwards for slander. He’s a ****ing toerag mate.
It doesn't matter how it happened he's left the club worh owners who could take the club fwd which tbf he always said he'd do. I hated the Ashley years, but I can see the areas he did well in.
My peak years. 26 to 42 when I had disposable income and earlier no kids. I had a season ticket and gave it up for the kids but honestly if the club where remotely ambitious I maybe would have kept it at the wrath of the missus.
A very one sided and emotional assessment. On the pitch was awful, but he ran the club well financially and that's helped sell the club or at least helped It's also why they can spend a bit more right off the bat. I just credit where its due.. You know this.
The only areas he did well in ironically are the ones I’m employed in which is finances. I was actually involved at some stage and could see what he was doing. But there is an old saying in business and it’s speculate for accumulate. His white direct brand works because he shafts everyone left right and centre. With a football club you have to invest every year and do it properly. He literally was on the last ladder run and someone threw him a ****ing gold plated lift.
