Out of interest does anyone know why Anelka wasn't even on the bench yesterday? Heard rumours of a rift between him and avb due to his recent performances but as always it's rumours and i don't believe anything untill it's proven. Didn't hear of him having any injuries though or did he pick one up in Friday training ?
I heard he had something with his leg, foot more specifically I think, during training. Not sure if that was it.
Remember someone talking about it on the radio station TalkSport the other night then i typed in google " Anelka " to see if it would come up if he had a injury and there was a article saying AVB was fed up of his poor performances. I still don't believe it though, i do however still find it odd that a few weeks ago AVB said Malouda, Kalou and Drogba were in discussions over new deals but not anelka
I was under the impression Anelka wanted to leave at the end of the season. Maybe I was making things up.
