Saf @The Arnhem Bridge hasn't been on for a couple of weeks, he can't still be out celebrating Sunderland's promotion?
Sucky had said to me after a day or two that Saf hadn't been on, but it was around the time Sunderland were at Wembley, so I just assumed he might have done a stay over from the game, but been 2 weeks now.
Mornin init nice n grey Been putting a fence up at my sister’s last few days…smashed it…smashed my lower back too…****in achin. anyway footy practice this morning but first things first coffee n biff
Saff does that quite regularly though, he won't be on for a couple of weeks and then reappears. Hope he's okay, I know he's been quite open before that his mental health isn't always good. So hope he's not sat somewhere in a pit of despair. Especially when he could be chatting to us ****s.
Went in wetherspoons yesterday, only a couple of quid for a beer (ale). I saw something on the tv when I got home, that seemed to be suggesting it would cost you £8 for a pint in London, blimey I could have had 4 pints for that, even their most expensive beer which would be something like brewdog, you could get a couple of pints for that price.
I generally try to avoid the closest pubs to me, simply because I refuse to pay £5+ a pint. So it means I have to go further, but the exercise is good, unless I have family/friends driving or I'm travelling somewhere on a train.
I'll stick to Moretti or Estrelle 330ml @ £0.83 thanks. Save the big bucks for some quality wine rather than cheap plonk is more my motto. In fact it always amazes me how people will happily spend £6 a pint but baulk at paying £30+ for a decent bottle of vino. Having said that though you can get half decent stuff from Lidl at much less if you're on a tight budget. Each to their own of course and there's nowt as queer as folk as they say
Just had a random call from my Italian cousin who usually lives is Australia, he's over here for some work so we're gonna meet up in Spitalfields Market tomorrow and have a catch up, last time I saw him we were like 8yr old he accidentally broke my Xmas present at my nan's gaff and we had to be dragged apart
Sounds about right to me mate, I'll probs bring some with me anyway if he wants a drink I'll need a nose after my 3rd pint Im looking forward to the food market tho, always top notch Street food down there. https://www.spitalfields.co.uk/food-drinks/
Off to see Gerry Cinnamon the noo. Should be good, just hope they've got the hospitality sorted as that side is usually ****e. Need a few liveners in the pub en route.
