Extremely. The only way we can ditch fun88 is they agree to us buying out their deal which was agreed in 2020.

It generates us £6m a year which is nothing. Buying it out isn’t the problem.

Fun88 have an extremely good deal.

The issue is gambling is banned in Saudi. So no shirt sales there unless the deal is torn up or the shirts are sponsorless.

Worse case scenario, its new shirts with Fun 88 and Kayak.
Best case scenario its new shirts with a new main sponsor and sleeve sponsor with a new signing doing kicky up's at the SJP sand (pitch has been re-laid)

That deal runs out on the 22nd of this month.

 

I am not sure it does mate. I’m sure it had break clauses but it was a long term deal.

Break clauses to effectively agree by both parties to suspend so a deal still has to be agreed.
