I think O'Brien is a decent footballer, but ever since we've been linked i've been a bit meh about it. I'm ok if he comes, but it's not a signing to get the juices flowing.

Now a sneaky bid for Jon Russell and you're talking <laugh>

I'd have to see more than half an hour of him but if he plays like that all the time I'd love to see him and Phillips in tandem. We desperately need a calm collected head to slow things down and make the right pass. He looked perfect to me for 30 minutes.

yup one swallow etc...

when i googled him, turns out he's a mormon... preys before a game and it gives him an inner calm. So there you go. He has god on his side and, jokes aside, a reputation for being calmness personified.

Isco isn't renewing his contact at at Real Madrid. According to various outlets he would be a realistic signing for us

Is he worth a punt for free?

O’Brian
Rodrigo De Paul
Ryan Kent
Noa Lang
And this morning Che Adams.
All getting a bit pointless until we have something firm that shows we have or are trying to get a particular player. Lazy journos just digging up past rumours. And why the hell would Marsch want a bunch of players that Bielsa was rumoured to want?
I thinks it’s more he wants the players Bielsa didn’t want but Orta did.

Didn’t Bielsa want O’Brien? Seem to recall he did but Leeds didn’t think it was worth paying Huddersfield’s asking price at the time.
I don’t remember the club ever confirming or denying we’d made a bid. Seem to recall their chairman claiming they had turned down a 13 million (or higher) bid from us?

Think the 13m included add-ons over the term of his contract if he hit certain targets? Our final offer was supposed to be £8m plus add-ons

Would be a great acquisition at that price. I’ve seen it mentioned that he’s slow but he has that initial turn of pace to take him past players in tight situations. Think that’s what sets him apart from Forshaw.

He’d be a good addition to the squad imo.

This one I can believe and has had 2 years under Jesse Marsch and mates with Aaronson.. danish International and that means Brentford also want him along with Borrusia Dortmund and more

Leeds United could fight Borussia Dortmund to sign RB Salzburg defender Rasmus Kristensen - Phil Hay

That would mean the exit for either Ayling or Drameh if correct.

Is it not the case that we’re just being linked with loads of Americans and RB Salzburg players due to Jesse Marsch being the manager like we were linked with loads of Argentine players when Bielsa was in charge despite never actually signing any players from Argentina.

Phil Hay is running with this one which was picked up this morning on News Now

Out of the RBs we have been linked with, Rasmus Kristensen seems one of the better options, only 24 and 6’ 2” tall and averages a goal every 7 games from the RB position. He also has 4 caps for Denmark and at the quoted £10m fee he could be a bargain.

It looks like we’ve lost out to Liverpool in the race to sign Ramsay
