Just watching the old Chelsea v Liverpool game from turn of the new year, where the visitors threw away a two goal lead, ending 2-2 - which in hindsight cost Liverpool the title.

In fact it was wrote at the time, I quote: Chelsea came from two goals down to earn a draw with Liverpool in a Stamford Bridge classic - a result that only strengthens Manchester City's stranglehold on the Premier League title race.

There's a few examples. Livpl fans like @Sucky keep going on about the few games lost. But the draws cost them in the league.

That's the difference between the league and tinpot cups. You can get away with draws in those and hope to fluke it on pens. Not the same when you're playing for a league title <whistle>
