I can't help but think that our owners won't want to play the 10 year plan. They'll want to look brilliant before then. So whilst I'm in no hurry to bring in those younger players who are looking towards sitting at the top table, I think they'll be incentivised to come here. So I'm guessing the summer will be like January on steroids.
Just an opinion, mate. Batman looks way too slow for PL football and Ekitike does nowt for me either, seems to benefit from crap marking. I'm no scout, I can't even suggest others, just when I see a player linked I'll check the internet and their clubs' forums to gauge an opinion. From what I gather, both sets of fans can't understand the values put on either player and would be happier with the cash. That's why I'd be a big fan of us getting Izak (in spite of average statistics) or J. David. My opinion is that both have a bit about them to really succeed. Ultimately though I trust Eddie and if we sign Botman then he gets my support.
