As said on Liverpool board... Whereas I was alive and nominally a Liverpool fan in the 80's... It wasn't really until the early 2000's that the football bug really bit me and I started watching often. I was pretty plastic until about 2003 or so.

I didn't see anyone in the 70's, and even those from the 80's and 90's, I didn't watch enough to have a properly informed opinion. Its easier to pick when you're just picking from a couple of decades.
