Ah, I never thought of that, and I should have, because I went through a period of betting on the last 10 minutes of random games. They seem to have fixed it now, but every now and again it would give very long odds on a team that were already well ahead.
I was suspicious, as there were times when a team well up with less than 10 minutes left, and with long odds, still lost.
Quite often, these were in places at the back of beyond in Asia. I couldn't believe that they really had people reporting the scores back from each of these games. I'm not even convinced some of the places even existed.

Aye, I get that. I was more referring to me forgetting the amount of betting on obscure games that takes place in Asia, which could possibly mask someone rigging things to win big.
I remember watching something with I think Le Tissier years ago. Being a forward he always took the kickoff and his mates decided to lump on massively that there'd be a throw in to the opposition in the first minute. He went to kick it straight out of play, but the opposition kept it in and he ran around like a mad man trying to win the ball back so he could kick it out in time.
