Did anyone hear him saying that money would be our only problem if we were promoted ?
Just because we don't wate our owners billions on ****e like beckford but rather cork, lambert and chaplow does not mean we have nothing to throw around.
 
Crooks was just repeating old gossip, probably started after Markus's death. The intention was always to run Saints sensibly, so we were never going to be a Man City or Chelsea. Cortese's plan is to show how you should run a football club, sensibly and bringing players through the academy. It's possible that ML may have made more money available if we got promoted or were nearing promotion, but we will never know that. Let's get promoted and worry about that. Adkins is our secret weapon...our team is greater than its parts and that's down to him, his team and Cortese's vision.
 
how the f**k does cooks know are finances so, maybe he should concentrate on the way we play and not try and secound guess how much money with got it has always been made clear to us that we have money does that the press and gossip say not and what the f**k do they know about it

What??Did he forget that we've got the wealthiest owners in the football league and the 5th richest in Britain,we will spend big when we're in the prem,but we won't spend just for the sake of it.This guy knows nothing.Great name btw

For our third goal you only saw the 24th, 25th pass. The 26th was passed by Connolly into the goal. Sadly, what you saw was just a nice finish to a superb build up, in which Boro didn't get near the ball for ages. Which is why they gave up with the challenges.

Clem's all right. Don't know why he has to raise his head and shut his eyes when he speaks though.

I don't think money will be a problem if we get promoted but also why is everything down to money and how much you spend? what about a little thing called coaching,improving the players you have? i take everything pundits say with a pinch of salt because they rarely get things right! If we got promoted i'd have every faith in the club and Nigel to get it right because as we have have seen this season they and he hasn't done too badly in the championship with not alot of money spent,they know what they're doing and quite blatantly people like Garth Crooks don't! most people are ignorant to a club like southampton and just comment with a load of rubbish without knowing any of the facts.
 
Honestly don't care about Crooks. There's not a single pundit I hate more (only Jamie runs him close). I just don't understand how the BBC haven't ditched him yet, after all these years.
 
Mark Lawrenson also said that Leicester's owners were billionaires yesterday, absolutely f*cking clueless. Just because they spent stupid money in the summer, everyone thinks they have more money than clubs like us, for example.
