As said, it's a bit late now. The story first came out in Jan that Everton were 3 x FFP limit, even accounting for Covid extension. Apparently they told the Prem, so that's okay then. Mind you, this was before Ukraine when big Uzzy was still allowed to bung the authorities... However Leeds and Burnley may squeal though, there'll be no penalties until next season, so it's a moot point. But City and Chelsea have consistently proved FFP doesn't apply to Prem League clubs, so its irrelevant anyway
You'll probably be only the 16th club to do it since it came in. But you could be the club that sets the record for the highest amount it's been broken by. Mind you, at 3 times and counting, Everton have set high bar for you there.
Just having a read around some of our other forums and this post pretty much sums up what the fans think. Huge sour grapes, pathetic, and not surprising Pathetic and embarrassing the 2 words mostly used
It would be funny if the league decided then was the time to take action and make an example out of you... Only to go on ignoring it again after that...
For a club nobody is really interested in. The media and fans are ****ing fuming we stayed up/already cleared FFP. drinking this in.
im done, after the last two weeks of playoffs and everton draw, loss and win I’m spent. think I won’t watch another game until it all starts again in August.
your players will be free from the shackles of a relegation dogfight don’t you want to watch them play free flowing football for the one solitary opportunity they have had this season as they whoop the broken Gooners?
Honestly, no. I’m done after that last night. Back late, into work. But if nice weather on Sunday may tempt me to try and tune in on radio/TV
