Yeah the distances would be so vast I don't know why they're wasting their time on mars. I asked for a telescope whem I was a child and I could see there was **** all living there from here.

I used to wonder whether aliens might exist and think it would be great to know, but now I honestly just think **** aliens. I've got enough problems as it is. The last thing we need imo is any further complications.

Stephen Hawkins explained what I said better, but essentially he said we shouldn't give away our position in case they deal with us the same way we deal with a wasps nest in our attack.

Did he say that, I'd never followed anything about the guy, but he probably made a fair point if he did.

It'll probably turn out Earth is nowt more than a human meat farm for aliens, if so I should fetch a good price, well aged. <laugh>

Well, we have been able to make self replicating protein chains... And we have been able to make conditions where aminos form. So replicated the first steps

Old saying about how butchers presented their meat adopted by women to describe others dressed in teenagers clothes.

My old gran always said never buy a rabbit until you see the butcher skin it or cut it's head off, she was right too. Once you cut the forelegs and hind legs off at the knees you can't tell the difference in either looks or taste.
