Should be close at Wembley. Broadhead on loan from Everton getting a winner would tip the Newcastle fans over the edge. Would make his move to Sunderland a formality, not going to make it at Everton.
Sheff U v Forest for me with the Mrs this weekend. playoffs do add to the excitement, brilliant games. But this could possibly be the third playoff final I have had to take her to, Sheff U lost the other two.
It was a semi-final over two legs, Sunderland won 2-1 on agg. So next up Wycombe final. All leagues have play-offs now, even the National League, which is an even more complicated system, but not as bad as the Scottish Leagues, where the Scottish Premier League actually gets split in two for the final run in of games, so the bottom half can't go any higher than mid-table, and the top half can't go any lower than mid-table.
In all seriousness sunderland are going up this year. They probably deserve a little break that lot, but I look forward to them meeting the next galacticos in a few years though
It seems like Forest's season to me, but Sheffield United are a tough team to beat, and Egan at the back will have Premiership experience from last time round.
I looked it up one time, because I couldn't work out why the table had a line through the middle of it. Then it all made sense, if you look where Ross County are in the table you will see what I mean.
Turned a corner when heckingbottom came in and look good new. Not as good as side that went up a few years ago, but more solid at the back. Could have done without playing forest until final, but will save me a few £’s if they don’t make Wembley.
Can I ask if anyone has seen Westy recently? @brb Hopefully he's just loved up with some twatter slagbird. Or even better went back to his ex and dont wanna tell me cos ill tell him off Westys song
