    I can't answer that - haven't seen them for decades.

    Yo yo biscuits were different in Australia - but I think even these have disappeared from the shelves.

    Arnott's still make them and they can be bought at supermarkets in Oz and NZ. The better ones are available at proper bakeries.
    I don't know about the British version.

    Glad to hear that - Arnott's had an excellent range of biscuits, not just famous for Tim Tams. Come to think about it, their mint slices may be their version of the yo-yo ofh was asking about.

    While we are on about biscuits, anyone remember Peak Freanes or was it Huntly and Palmers shortcake buiscuits, just wonderful, could have eaten a whole packet if I did not control myself. You used to be able to buy them loose out of a big tin box with glass lid.

    Ones that are sold today by others or as supermarket brands just do not cut it, they have changed the recipe. Sainsbury did a very close imitation until the changed the recipe and gave them a coconutty flavour. <steam>
