He breaks teams. He spends insane amounts on players who have already peaked. Causes half the staff to quit and leaves clubs in financial problems with no decent players because he sells all the decent youth and you're stuck with aging has beens and a need to rebuild the whole staff.
He's usually kicked out before the club completely crashes, so the poor guy that comes next inherits a massive mess.
